All About Me

Welcome  to  Dreka  Speaks.

Whether directing a stage production, stepping behind the microphone, or writing poetry, I've always been drawn to stories that reveal something true about the human experience. I believe the best stories invite us to see one another with greater empathy, discover hope in unexpected places, and leave us changed long after the final word.

For more than two decades, I've had the privilege of directing theatre and helping performers discover confidence, creativity, and their unique voice. Today, my passion for storytelling also extends to voice acting and poetry, where I continue to explore themes of faith, identity, resilience, humor, love, and the beauty of our shared humanity.

My deeply rooted faith is the foundation of who I am and influences the way I live, create, and connect with others. It reminds me that every person has value, every story deserves to be heard, and creativity is a gift meant to encourage, inspire, and bring light into the world.
